The HR Advisor manages various HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, grievance and case management, investigations, and record keeping.
This role supports multiple organisational programs, employees, and management throughout the employment lifecycle. It focuses on creating an inclusive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and implementing well-being and professional development programs.
The HR Advisor provides expert support on HR issues such as employee relations, performance management, and organisational development. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Services, the HR Advisor collaborates with management and staff to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and practices, supporting continuous improvement and employee involvement.
Selection Criteria:
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a generalist role, is required.
* A can-do proactive attitude with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and
* manage competing priorities.
* Maintain current 'Working with Vulnerable People' registration.
* Demonstrated experience in HR advisory roles, including providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite
