Do you want to become part of our Perioperative Service Department team? As a member of our team you will play an important role, in providing high quality service to theatres and other clinical areas. As Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include: Demonstrate patient safety by maintaining cleanliness of work benches and all equipment, reporting malfunctioning machinery or instruments, and utilising Personnel Protective Equipment at all times. Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team, working with the Unit Manager and clinical team, participating in meetings, and demonstrating attention to detail and time management. Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes. Demonstrate operational efficiency by working efficiently and identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement to improve service delivery. Practices and role models the Healthscope Safe Values to create a positive experience for colleagues, patients, families and community. Undertakes duties in alignment with Healthscope’s Health and Safety system and framework.
