Overview
Join our team at St Joseph's Primary School OSHC in Childers. We are seeking a dedicated Casual Educator to support primary school kids in our 30-place Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service. The service operates before school (6:30 am - 8:30 am) and after school (2:45 pm - 6:00 pm) for students in Prep to Grade 6, located on the grounds of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Childers. We provide a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, sports, construction, and imaginative play. Motivated candidates can also work across OSHC services in the Hervey Bay region, including vacation care. A permanent, part-time role is available for the right person. Ready to join us? Apply now
Responsibilities
* Providing nurturing care for children
* Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
* Creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
* Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
* Working collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Job Requirements
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent)
* Experience in early childhood or OSHC is preferred
* Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
* Effective workplace communication skills
