Regional Training Facilitator - WheatbeltAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsWe are seeking an employee who is passionate about volunteer training and assessment. You will deliver training and assessment for St John endorsed courses to country Volunteers and on occasions Country Transport Officers, to develop confident and competent operational volunteers and transport officers for theNorthamregion of WA.This is a Full-Timeposition 37.5 hours a week.Key outcomes for a Regional Training Facilitator:To deliver training and assessment to volunteers and paid clinical staff (Transport Officers) within the region to required quality standardsDeliver training to allow volunteers and Country Transport Officers in the Wheatbelt region to attain and maintain an adequate level of skills to enable them to perform their designated scope of practiceDeliver training that is consistent and accurate using approved training packages designed by the Clinical Education DepartmentComplete course reports as required to measure effectiveness of the training activity and outcomesAssist the Regional Training and Development Coordinator (RTDC) to plan and coordinate efficient and effective delivery of training and development to volunteers and paid clinical staff (Transport Officers) within the regionAssist with the maintenance of training equipmentSupport Volunteer Development Officers (VDOs) to ensure training is conducted effectively to attain required outcomesThe successful applicant must have the following qualifications and aptitudes:Clinical knowledge to at least Provide First Aid level is desirableExperience working with volunteers and or volunteer organisationsPrevious experience working in the education sector is preferredFlexibility in relation to days worked to meet training requirementsAbility to travel to various Wheatbelt regional locations to deliver training/assessmentExisting volunteer with St John WA desirableTo ApplyTo apply for this exciting opportunity please select"Apply Now".Applications must include a detailedcover letteroutlining your motivations for this position,resumeanda copy of yourcurrent driver’s licence.If you have any questions, please contact Beth Duncan – Talent Sourcing Consultant beth.duncan@stjohnwa.com.au Applications close on 26/06/25St John WA is committed to creating an inclusive environment which provides a sense of belonging and enables a welcoming, diverse, capable and connected workforce who represent the community we serve.
