Lead Truth-Telling Initiatives
This role involves leading projects that acknowledge and honour Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, culture, and connections to water. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering initiatives that embed truth-telling and cultural intelligence across the organisation, ensuring our work respects Country, deepens employees and wider community knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, and supports the reconciliation journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects from design through to delivery of truth-telling initiatives that recognise the impact of assets on Aboriginal people and culture.
* Develop and integrate the Aboriginal Cultural Intelligence Framework and Aboriginal Impact Policy Review process.
* Engage with senior leaders, executive and traditional owner groups to gain input, support and engagement for projects, strategies and frameworks.
* Oversee research and analysis to support strategic policy development.
* Provide strategic advice and champion initiatives aligned with the Reconciliation Action Plan.

About You
To be successful in this role, you need to be experienced in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, histories and impacts of past and present policies. You must demonstrate your skills in engaging with stakeholders and guiding them through change, including influencing and negotiation skills. You'll bring solid end-to-end project management experience in large organisations and have the passion and drive to champion Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander advancement.
