Status: Casual Salary range: Casual – Level 2.1 ($37.4167 per hour) Job Description Opportunity: The Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre is looking for multiple passionate and customer focused individuals to join their Lifeguard Team. Reporting to the Duty Manager, this role will see you responsible for providing supervision and assistance to customers to ensure a safe swimming environment, educate customers using the Centre’s Watch Around Water guidelines and provide a clean and safe environment for customers to enjoy. Desired Skills and Experience About You: Candidates will need to have good customer service, interpersonal, teamwork, time management and communication skills. The Lifeguard role requires a Pool Lifeguard Award and a First Aid Certificate. Applicants do not need to hold these qualifications to apply but will be required to obtain them before commencement into the role If you are passionate about water safety and have knowledge of water/pool chemistry and manual handling procedures, then please apply.
