About The Role
As the Receptionist at House 49, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for clients, visitors, contractors and stakeholders. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, calm and supportive environment while providing high-quality reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of House 49 and the programs delivered onsite.
Reporting to the House 49 Manager, this is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position based in Darwin, NT. Pay is in accordance with SCHADS Level 3.
How You Will Make An Impact
* Warmly greeting visitors and clients, managing security and telecommunications systems, and responding to general enquiries.
* Acting as the first point of contact and directing people to the appropriate staff or services.
* Managing incoming emails and general correspondence.
* Transferring calls, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely follow-up.
* Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail.
* Providing banking support and managing petty cash.
* Supporting the team with general office duties and resource management as required.
What You Will Bring
* Previous experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within the community or welfare sector.
* Certificate III in Business (or willingness to obtain).
* Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
