**Overview**
This position provides key administrative services as part of the Workplace Technology team delivering technology services to corporate end-users to meet the company's productivity and efficiency objectives. This includes the purchasing of workplace technology hardware and software, and includes the processing of purchase orders where required. The role requires liaising with suppliers on an ongoing basis and managing the updating of our asset registers and service catalogue.
The role will also require documenting purchasing and administrative processes and updating associated articles within a knowledge base. There is also the requirement to develop basic training materials on specific workplace technology topics to assist corporate users with any upcoming changes to the workplace technology environment.
The position requires outstanding customer service and user support, and will require strong written and oral communications as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
**Duties & Responsibilities** 
- Assist with IT procurement including purchase order processing and tracking items from request to delivery 
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers 
- Advise of upcoming contract renewals with enough lead time for action by the Workplace Technology Manager 
- Update and periodically audit the IT assets register 
- Liaise and work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to acquire, and arrange servicing of workplace technology managed IT assets 
- Research workplace technology related questions using all available information resources 
- Assist with service catalogue management 
- Other administrative duties as required
**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience** 
- Experience with basic ordering and procurement processes 
- Knowledge of data and reporting requirements within IT service management systems 
- Experience with customer service expectations and practices 
- Able to take responsibility for largely self-managing priorities and workload 
- Willingness to continuously improve documentation and information sharing processes 
- Knowledge of end-user IT hardware, software and peripherals 
- Some knowledge of financial services business terminology desirable
