About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our Development Team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for elevating our organisation's visibility and deepening community engagement.
You will be the driving force behind our brand's narrative, crafting compelling content that highlights our impact and supports our mission.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling: Write, edit, and publish engaging content across various channels, including our website, blog, newsletters, and social media.
Conduct interviews with staff, clients, and partners to create powerful impact stories and feature articles.
Graphic Design: Design and produce on-brand marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva, such as social media graphics, brochures, and event signage.
Digital Marketing & SEO: Oversee all digital channels, including social media planning and execution, to grow our online presence and engagement.
Manage website content updates and implement SEO strategies to maximise our reach.
Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, media plans, and communication strategies that support our fundraising and program initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop collateral and reports that demonstrate our community impact and support partnership activities, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Brand Management: Act as a brand champion, ensuring all communications are consistent with Youth Futures' branding, style, and messaging standards.
What You'll Bring
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, with experience in the not-for-profit sector highly regarded.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Demonstrated experience in content creation, digital marketing, and managing social media platforms.
A solid understanding of SEO best practices and experience with website content management systems like WordPress.
The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
