A well-known Australian digital incubator inside a large corporate organisation is at a pivotal moment. They are looking to rebuild loyalty and rewards, reimagining identity and account management, launching retail media, and shipping agentic commerce. Two new business lines are in the pipeline.
They need a Senior Solution Architect who can shape, drive, and land complex initiatives across a genuinely broad set of domains.
The role in plain terms:
This isn't a spec-and-draw-boxes job. You'll be in the room when the problem is first defined, and still there when the solution goes live. You'll move between engineers in the morning and C-suite stakeholders in the afternoon — and land well in both. High autonomy, lean team, meaningful work from day one.
Domains you'll work across:
Loyalty & Rewards, Identity & Account Management, Subscriptions & Payments, Retail Media, AI & Agentic Commerce, Marketing Platforms & more.
What we're actually looking for:
* You can take a complex problem and build a clear, compelling story around it
* You're confident defending an architectural position under pressure
* You're understanding governance, non-functional requirements, and how to navigate large organisations
* You've worked at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and business strategy
* You communicate with clarity at the integration level and the exec level
On background:
We care far more about how you think and communicate than the shape of your CV. Candidates from business analysis, enterprise architecture, or program leadership backgrounds who've built architectural capability along the way are genuinely welcome here. TOGAF/Zachman is a nice-to-have, not a filter.
Please apply even if you don't tick every box. Research consistently shows that women and underrepresented candidates tend not to apply unless they meet every requirement listed. If this role is in your wheelhouse even if your path here has been non-linear we want to hear from you.
