HR Heavy Rigid / HC‑Multi Combination Driver – Interstate
All Vehicle Freight is a small, family‑owned transport company specializing in the movement of new and used caravans, hybrid campers, cars, and machinery. With a fleet of late‑model vehicles, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and safe transport across Australia.
We are currently seeking an experienced HC‑Multi Combination Driver to join our growing team for interstate driving operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate HC‑Multi Combination vehicles transporting caravans, hybrid campers, boats, vehicles, and machinery interstate.
* Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
* Ensure accurate record‑keeping and compliance with work diary requirements.
* Perform daily vehicle checks and minor maintenance as required.
* Participate in occasional weekend work, particularly for caravan show bump‑ins and bump‑outs.
What We're Looking For
* HC‑Multi Combination license with a clean driving record (no major traffic offences or serious violations).
* Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in towing or car carrying operations.
* Experience in towing or car carrying; previous experience in the caravan transport industry (preferred).
* Allocation experience preferred – ability to manage and coordinate load allocations effectively.
* Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic vehicle checks.
* Work diary experience is essential.
* Positive, reliable attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
* Australian citizenship required for this position.
