Audio Visual Technician Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio and visual equipment for various events and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Setup: Configure and install audio and visual equipment, test and troubleshoot to ensure proper functioning and optimal quality.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and inspections, identify and resolve malfunctions or technical issues promptly and efficiently.
3. Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to audio and video signals, connectivity, and equipment failures.
4. Booking and Scheduling: Ensure responsiveness to requests, accurate scheduling, and availability of equipment for events.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with event organisers, presenters, facilities teams, and other IT staff to ensure seamless integration of audio visual systems with overall event setup.
