The Opportunity
A growing Superfund are looking for an experience procurement professional who will contribute across the full procurement lifecycle — from upstream sourcing and category planning through to downstream vendor performance and commercial compliance.
You will help embed systems, workflow discipline, and reporting frameworks that enable smarter buying decisions and stronger governance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Upstream Procurement
* Provide sourcing support across multiple business divisions
* Conduct expenditure analysis across indirect categories to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
* Support category planning and category management uplift
* Partner with Legal to negotiate and formalise commercial contracts
Downstream & Vendor Management
* Ensure contractual terms are accurately reflected in invoicing and payment processes
* Monitor SLA performance, regulatory certifications, ESG and social procurement considerations
* Support robust vendor management practices and reporting
Systems & Governance
* Apply procurement policy to ensure regulatory and internal governance compliance
* Support procurement workflow tools and system engagement
* Contribute to transparent reporting for management visibility
About You
You are a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in structured, regulated environments. You combine governance discipline with practical sourcing expertise and are confident engaging senior stakeholders.
Essential Experience
* Significant experience in procurement governance and policy application
* Strong sourcing and category management experience across indirect categories
* Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial savings and process improvements
* Contract negotiation and vendor management expertise
Desirable
* Financial analytical capability and strong numeracy
* Exposure to procurement systems, workflow tools and data analytics
* Project management capability
* Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira / Confluence)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or procurement certification
