The Opportunity
We are currently looking for motivated and detail-oriented final year students and recent graduates to join our General Liability team in Perth working 3 - 4 days per week, with a view to progression to a full-time law graduate role from 2026 onwards. These positions offer a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals and build a career in the legal industry. If you are a proactive individual with a passion for litigation, this role is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist lawyers in reviewing and drafting advices, court documents, witness statements, settlement agreements and correspondence
* Review medical records and expert reports to prepare chronologies and summaries of evidence
* Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
* Prepare briefs to experts and manage discovery of documents
* Assist in managing communications with clients, barristers, and court
* Prepare and organise materials for court appearances and meetings
What you need
* Must be in the final year of your law degree or have recently graduated
* Must have full working rights in Australia
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
