Job Summary
The role of First Assistant Secretary, Digital Transformation, entails providing strategic leadership in developing and implementing information technology initiatives that align with the government's policy agenda and the department's business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Prioritizing and managing major information system projects to ensure effective delivery, coherent information architecture, and maximum return on investment.
* Ensuring products meet user-centric, reliable, and security standards, including data management.
* Advising senior executives on digital design and implementation to deliver government outcomes in health, disability, and aged care.
* Collaborating with the Digital Services executive team and departmental policy areas to co-design a strategic approach.
* Resource planning, demand management, quality assurance, and release assurance.
Requirements
* High-level judgement and experience providing strategic advice to ministers and stakeholders.
