Centre Director – Busy Bees at Byford Central
Busy Bees at Byford Central is seeking an experienced, people-focused Centre Director to lead our supportive team in a warm, close-knit community environment. This is an excellent opportunity to guide a smaller service with strong organisational backing and a national support network.
About the Role
In this leadership role, you will:
* Oversee daily centre operations and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance
* Build strong, positive relationships with families and the Byford community
* Lead, mentor, and develop your team of educators
* Drive performance in line with the EYLF, NQS, and Busy Bees quality frameworks
* Manage enrolments, occupancy, budgeting, rosters, and staffing
* Create an environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn
What You'll Need
* ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
* Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Centre Director
* Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF, and regulatory requirements
* Working with Children Check (Employee) – WA requirement
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills
* A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach
