Surveillance Operator – Crown Sydney
We're seeking a detail‐oriented Surveillance Operator to join Crown Sydney. In this role you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of guests, visitors, residents and colleagues through technical and electronic monitoring across the property, while working closely with Gaming, Hotels, Food & Beverage, Events and other Support Services departments and the Security Operations team.
Responsibilities
* Maintain security and surveillance monitoring and alarms across the property.
* Support critical incident and emergency responses, assisting Security Operations teams with command, control, coordination and communication protocols.
* Identify and report key incidents, anomalies and illegal or suspicious behaviour by patrons, visitors and staff.
* Proactively identify, manage and escalate excluded persons or persons of interest requiring action.
* Monitor and analyse behavioural patterns to identify risks or anomalies.
* Analyse, investigate and provide accurate advice on security and surveillance incidents.
* Complete audits of gaming equipment and detect manufacturing defects or tampered items.
Qualifications
* A 1AE Security Licence or willingness to obtain one.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar Surveillance role (gaming/hospitality experience highly regarded).
* Strong observation and communication skills.
* Excellent computer skills with ability to work across multiple systems and platforms.
* Strong aptitude in casino maths or relevant qualifications.
* Exceptional probity clearance and ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee Licence – Category B.
* Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including day, overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts.
