Regional Market Development Leader
The Regional Market Director role is pivotal in driving profitable growth and maintaining a competitive edge within their assigned region. They will lead the understanding, analysis, and strategic navigation of the dynamic Marine segment landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an in-depth understanding of all DCLI functions, terminal operations, and vendors, becoming the go-to-expert for all aspects of their assigned region.
Partner with regional Operational and Commercial teams daily to ensure alignment with market strategies prior to implementation and that initiatives are being executed as intended.
Conduct weekly meetings with maintenance & repair, logistics, and commercial teams, ensuring alignment on tasks required to achieve market objectives.
Gain a detailed understanding of all financial drivers within the assigned market/region, interpreting financial results and communicating these results to all levels of the organization, developing initiatives to improve efficiencies, identify growth opportunities, and maximize profitability.
Closely collaborate with the Finance team to develop and implement a robust, data-driven strategy for achieving profitable growth in the Marine segment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field, Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Marine or intermodal industry is a plus.
Proven track record of successfully implementing data-driven strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills in guiding teams, decision-making, and communication at a senior management level.
