The Role:
As the EUC & Digital Workplace Specialist (Tech Bar Specialist), you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless user experience for our staff when interacting with technology hardware and applications. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including executive leadership, to deliver EUC & Digital Workplace solutions that enhance employee engagement and productivity.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide expert assistance at the onsite Tech Bar for staff with technology issues, offering a simplified customer-centric experience.
* Enhance endpoint management and ensure CIS hardening of endpoint devices.
* Support AV services for meeting rooms, digital signage, and video conferencing, escalating incidents to partners and managing resolutions.
* Drive continuous service improvement for EUC & Digital Workplace.
* Contribute to asset management of hardware, maintaining adequate stock controls.
* Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding processes, improving employee engagement and security compliance.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Deep understanding of End User Compute solutions, maintaining high standards, and enhancing security and risk posture.
* Strong knowledge of End User Compute, SOE, Intune, MS Defender, AV, Video Conferencing, Microsoft O365, and Mobility.
* Able to establish effective working relationships with diverse individuals at various levels within and outside the organisation.
* Strategic thinker with a passion for investigating, problem-solving, and staying up-to-date with new technologies.
* Customer-focused mindset and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, manage multiple complex projects, meet deadlines, and follow through.
* Current Driver's Licence required for occasional travel to other local site locations.
