We are currently looking for full-time Group Travel Sales Consultants to share their passion for travel and join our Mackay team
About Your New Opportunity
As a Group Travel Sales Consultant, you will work with the group's sales team to help to plan, book and coordinate group itineraries that encompass iconic travel destinations and experiences. This will include managing events, concerts, sporting, schools, business, private groups and hosted journey travel. Ideally you must be confident selling tailor made groups and putting together bespoke itineraries for your customers. Building your customer relationships and satisfaction will be critical to your success in this role.
You will be expected to:
* Be part of an energetic and social team on a 5-day roster with some Saturday work
* You will use your travel experience to sell the products and destinations you love
* Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via email
* Prepare and issue invoices, receipt payments and maintain financial documents
* Advise customers of travel regulations, visas and local customs
* Ensure that you treat your client's holidays like your own
Ideally you will possess:
* Two years professional full-time work experience in a travel consulting role or similiar
* Advanced computer skills and the ability to confidently learn new computer systems
* Resilient, driven, and ability to adapt to change
* Travel experience to a variety of overseas destinations
