Employment Coach Position
We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of an Employment Coach. As part of our team, you will play a vital part in empowering customers to achieve their goals and meet contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing coaching services to assist diverse customers overcome personal and professional challenges.
* Delivering employability skills training, enhancing confidence, and facilitating career planning.
* Preparing quality resumes, cover letters, and supporting job application processes.
* Finding suitable employment opportunities for customers and advocating on their behalf.
* Referencing customers to internal and external support for housing, mental health, and financial counseling.
* Offering additional mentoring and support during the first six months of employment.
* Documenting customer information and progress accurately within Work-related systems.
To succeed in this position, you must possess:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* A high level of administration skills, including data entry, Microsoft Office, and proficiency in IT.
* Strong attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure.
* A minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute.
* Prior experience in employment services is highly regarded.
