Chef de Partie - Restaurant Labart
Restaurant Labart is located in the heart of beachside Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast. It is a relaxed neighborhood restaurant with a contemporary European bistro feel. Labart has received numerous awards, including being named Gourmet Traveler’s Best Restaurant in Qld in 2024.
About the Position
We are seeking a full-time Chef De Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will receive an annual salary, 4 weeks paid annual leave, superannuation, and tips. The role offers a 4-day workweek with 3 days off every week, and staff meals are provided each day.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to work all sections of the kitchen
- Follow directions from and support the Head Chef and sous chef
- Come to work with a positive attitude and drive to succeed every day
- Provide consistent, exceptional quality work every day
Requirements
- At least 1 year experience working within a fine dining or high-end restaurant
- Well-presented and professional with an exceptional work ethic and attitude
- Passionate about learning and developing your skills
- Able to maintain high-quality standards, run your own section and multi-task in a busy, open kitchen
- High level of attention to detail, punctual and reliable
- Fluent in English
- Hold the necessary cooking certificate/diploma or have at least 2 years relevant work experience
- Full Australian working rights
- Available to work nights and weekends
