Overview
We are partnering with a rapidly growing healthcare technology company to appoint a Sales Director to lead their enterprise sales strategy across the Australian healthcare market.
Based in Melbourne, this role will focus on expanding the organisation’s footprint across public health systems, hospitals and healthcare networks throughout Australia.
The position combines hands‑on enterprise SaaS selling with sales leadership, managing and developing a team of Account Executives while personally leading strategic engagements with senior healthcare stakeholders.
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in scaling a high‑growth SaaS business within one of the most complex and impactful sectors.
* Lead, mentor and develop a team of enterprise SaaS Account Executives
* Establish a high‑performance sales culture with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline
* Drive consistent execution of structured enterprise sales methodologies
* Lead strategic SaaS sales engagements with major public healthcare organisations across Australia
* Build relationships with CIOs, Chief Digital Officers and executive leadership teams within healthcare providers
* Navigate complex healthcare procurement processes and long enterprise sales cycles
Market Expansion
* Develop and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for healthcare customers across Victoria and the wider Australian healthcare system
* Identify opportunities across public hospital networks, digital health initiatives and government healthcare programmes
* Build strategic relationships across the healthcare ecosystem
Commercial Execution
* Own and close high‑value enterprise SaaS deals
* Lead RFP, tender and procurement processes
* Work cross‑functionally with marketing, partnerships and customer success teams to drive growth
Experience
* Proven experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions into healthcare organisations
* Track record of success within the Australian public healthcare system (Highly desirable)
* Experience working with organisations such as Department of Health and Aged Care, state health services or major hospital networks
* Demonstrated success leading enterprise sales teams
* Strong record closing six and seven‑figure SaaS deals
* Deep understanding of enterprise procurement and healthcare buying processes
* Experience using structured enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or similar frameworks
Leadership
* Experience managing and coaching high‑performing enterprise sales teams
* Ability to scale pipeline generation and forecasting processes
* Strong collaboration across marketing, product and delivery teams
Relationships
* Established network within the Australian healthcare sector
* Credibility with senior stakeholders including CIOs, Digital Health leaders and healthcare executives
