About the Role
The Mine Planning Engineer will be responsible for:
* Providing technical input to short-term planning processes, including monthly and quarterly schedules.
* Assisting in the development of long-term scheduling strategies, including life-of-mine budgets and forecasts.
* Monitoring and analysing plan compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimisation strategies.
* Managing underground costs and ensuring designs maximise value.
* Identifying and mitigating hazards and risks associated with mine design and operation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Short-Term Planning: Develop and implement short-term plans to achieve operational goals.
2. Long-Term Scheduling: Assist in the development of long-term scheduling strategies, including life-of-mine budgets and forecasts.
3. Plan Compliance: Monitor and analyse plan compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimisation strategies.
