Job Overview
This role presents a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position within our organization, overseeing the delivery of new services and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading frontline service delivery, supervising staff, engaging with employers, and driving program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead employer engagement at allocated sites, ensuring workplaces meet safety requirements and award conditions.
* Collaborate with employers to agree on wage subsidy requests and submit them to managers.
* Develop and monitor the performance of other team members in relation to employment anchors, outcomes, post-placement support, and program requirements.
* Provide day-to-day supervision and support to lower or similar classified employees.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A relevant qualification related to the delivery of disability employment services, recognized by industry experts.
* At least 3 years of demonstrated experience working in disability services, preferably in Disability Employment Services or similar programs.
* Strong commitment to recovery-based practice and excellent knowledge of program requirements.
* Understanding of challenges faced by individuals with mental health issues.
* Experience in a similar role providing support and/or supervision to staff.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data information management systems.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
