About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Café Manager and an Assistant Manager with a can-do attitude, who thrives under pressure and has fantastic customer service skills, to join our team in Sunbury
As the café manager, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing and supervising day-to-day operations and managing rostering
* Maintaining staff levels by recruiting
* Maintaining the highest standards for all Jolly Miller products and services
* Foster an environment of respect, collaboration and teamwork within the store
* Follow all cash management policies and procedures to ensure accountability of all monies
* Conduct performance appraisals according to the Jolly Miller People Calendar
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2 years min experience in a supervisory or managerial role
* Experience managing day-to-day rostering, allocation, ordering and financials.
* Strong leadership experience in development, supporting and motivating staff.
* Passionate about providing a truly memorable customer service experience every time.
* Food preparation skills and knowledge of safe food handling are essential.
* Great personality and personal presentation
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
