Workshop and Field Service Supervisor Role
This role involves managing both workshop and field service aspects of our business, encompassing a range of Cummins engine platforms in various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor technicians and apprentices
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless process execution
* Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation
* Complete necessary documentation
* Communicate effectively with external customers regarding job bookings, management, and invoicing
* Supervise operations on a hands-on basis when required
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will need:
* A relevant trade qualification (e.g., mechanical or plant mechanic)
* Experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in heavy diesel products and maintenance
* Proven leadership experience in a workshop environment
* Familiarity with electronic diagnostics systems is advantageous
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with a hands-on leadership approach
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Knowledge of business systems such as Movex or SAP is preferred but not essential
* HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck and Forklift license would be beneficial
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
