The role is based in the service's office, working alongside a Service Leader and an Administration Officer. Salary: $70,960.77 per annum pro rata (plus in-charge allowance)
Job Description:
The position seeks a temporary full-time Early Childhood – Second in Charge/Educational Leader at Arthur Dickmann Children's Centre. The initial hours are part-time, increasing to full-time from 30 July. Start and finish times may vary based on service needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Service Leader and team to implement a play-based curriculum
* Foster an inclusive environment that promotes children's interests, culture, and abilities
* Lead the development of a high-quality educational program
* Support operational requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
* Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
* Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Criminal History Check (valid within six months)
* Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations in early childhood
