SENIOR SUPERVISOR – CIVIL CONSTRUCTION – FIFO & DIDO

Established in 2010, RDH is a privately owned Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage and Mining Services Operation, offering a wide range of civil and earthmoving solutions to an extensive client base throughout Regional Western Australia. We deliver tailored earthmoving and civil solutions for projects ranging from $2 million to $45 million, backed by a proven track record of project accountability, safety and quality outcomes.
Our projects span from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector; such as detailed roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, tailings dams, airport construction and major highway upgrades. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a Senior Supervisor to join our team.
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Supervisor with a broad spectrum of knowledge across civil construction disciplines. Reporting to our Projects Director, the successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. This role will require you to manage multiple scopes of work, collaborate with teams, interact with clients and subcontractors to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, timelines and budgets.
* Lead a diverse team of personnel across multiple scopes of work, including but not limited to earthworks, road construction and drainage.
* Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standards, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
* Monitor daily work progress, resolve issues and make adjustments to work plans as necessary to meet project milestones.
* Maintain a high level of communication with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors and RDH Silo's to ensure project objectives are being met.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure that all work is being performed to the highest quality standards and in accordance with project specifications.
* Assist with procurement and managing construction materials and resources.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, timesheets and safety reports.
* Ensure that all environmental, regulatory, and quality standards are met.
About You
* Minimum 10 years supervisory experience in civil construction
* Demonstrated success in supervising and leading civil teams with clear communication skills
* Ability to multitask and problem solve, managing multiple conflicting priorities
* Work closely and respectfully with the client representative
* Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations
* You should have a full understanding of all safety, environment and quality regulations as well as being technologically capable, program savvy and responsive to the administrative aspects of the job role.
* Experience across Bulk & Detailed Earthworks, Drainage, Road works and major infrastructure
* Have a high level of QA knowledge
* Daily reporting and pre starts
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
* Ability to complete satisfactory pre-employment medicals
* Satisfactory National Police Clearance will be required
Education, Licences and Training
* Section 44 / Schedule 26
* Current Driver's License (HR preferred)
* Construction industry Blue or White card
* Experience in various civil heavy earthmoving machinery
