Job Description
* Prepare and manage accurate financial statements for property portfolios.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Coordinate with property managers to provide financial insights and support.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for property operations.
* Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and tenant accounts.
* Assist in preparing tax returns and liaising with external auditors.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) or working towards completion.
* Strong knowledge of property accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
