Job Description
Prepare and manage accurate financial statements for property portfolios.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Coordinate with property managers to provide financial insights and support.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes for property operations.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and tenant accounts.
Assist in preparing tax returns and liaising with external auditors.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA) or working towards completion.
Strong knowledge of property accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
