Seeking an experienced, Diploma qualified Educator to join our team in Maryborough. St Mary's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located on the beautiful grounds of St Mary's Catholic Primary School. This dynamic team seeks passionate and dedicated educators ready to take on Responsible Person (RP) leadership roles, ensuring high‐quality education and care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Our service, established in 2017, cares for up to 45 children in a well‐equipped OSHC space with access to the school hall and oval. We work closely with the school and parish communities to provide a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where school‐aged children can thrive.
Responsibilities
* Providing nurturing care for children
* Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
* Creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
* Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
* Working collaboratively within an established team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
* Opportunity to attend excursions during vacation care

Qualifications
* Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) – required
* Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
* Current child protection training is beneficial
* A passion for the education and care of school‐aged children in a play‐based environment
* Strong oral and written communication skills
