About the role
A Gabrielli Constructions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As a full-time Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of on-site operations.
What you'll be doing
* Collaborating with the project management team to plan and schedule construction activities, allocate resources, and optimize workflows
* Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to guide the implementation of construction activities
* Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting on project progress, quality control, and safety compliance
* Providing technical support and guidance to site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders as required
* Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
What we're looking for
* A keen, positive attitude with enthusiasm to learn, grow professionally, and actively contribute as a collaborative team player.
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, construction management or a related field
* Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction-related role
* Sound understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as project management principles
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
