As a Permits & Registrations Officer, you will help make a positive difference by supporting residents, businesses, and community groups in the delivery of permits and registrations.
About the Role
As Permits & Registrations Officer, you will help deliver responsive, high-quality services that support a safe, vibrant and inclusive community. Working within Civic Services, you will assess permit and registration applications, provide clear advice to customers, and contribute to efficient, compliant service delivery across a broad range of local law and statutory functions.
Key Responsibilities
You will assess and process a range of permits and registrations in line with relevant legislation, local laws and Council policies. You will prepare accurate records and correspondence, work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, and provide timely, respectful customer service across phone, written and in-person channels. You will also support cyclical service activities, contribute to process improvements, and help maintain high standards of compliance, privacy and record keeping.

Employment Requirements
* Relevant skills and experience in administration and customer service gained through on-the-job training.
* Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
