Logistics Operations Co-ordinator

Full time – Sydney, Australia

About the role

* Play an active business partnering role in the ANZ Supply Chain Team.
* Be a key member of the ANZ Logistics & Warehouse team, openly demonstrating and embracing the company culture in all actions, behaviors and communication internally and externally.
* Assist the ANZ Supply Chain in receiving, checking and coding invoices in either Coupa or through manual coding methods.
* Assist with setting up new vendors as required, working with local Procurement teams and chasing overseas approvals as required.
* Code logistics related invoices to the correct Cost Centre and GL Codes to ensure correct tracking of costs.
* Maintain monthly spend tracking logs for inbound, outbound and inter‐plant freight by business unit and country to assist the Regional team with accruals.
* Assist in processing export orders to various countries via air or sea.
* Complete shipping documents for road, air and sea transport.
* Support satellite warehouses such as Tasmania and Brisbane by downloading and processing orders through SAP, ensuring they are processed on time to help improve OTIF results.
* Ensure SOPs are in place for all processes for use by other staff in the future.
* In emergency situations create SAP DRP orders (STOs) to resupply other AU plants from the main Melbourne DC through SAP.
* Consistently strive for continued improvement with both costs and efficiencies.
* Assist with problem solving and manage issues related to deliveries or products.
* Work with logistics/planning teams to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand by analysing and monitoring current sales and stock levels, eliminating out‐of‐stock situations.
* Assist in training new staff in organisational priorities and processes.
* Participate in training programs.

Qualifications

* Demonstrated customer service experience.
* Display a commitment to personal and company objectives.
* Energetic, punctual, reliable and enthusiastic.
* Display clear goal‐setting and goal‐achievement skills and disciplines.
* SAP knowledge – Essential.
* Demonstrated experience in logistics, freight management, import and exports – essential.
* Microsoft Word and Excel – Proficient.
* Background in the chemical or cleaning sectors would be an advantage.
