About the role
Are you passionate about communications and marketing? Do you want to kickstart your career in a dynamic, supportive environment? Westfund Health is seeking a motivated Trainee Communications and Marketing Officer to join our Brand, Marketing and Experience (BMX) team. As a Trainee Communications and Marketing Officer, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the BMX team in rolling out communications and marketing initiatives across the organisation. You will contribute creative ideas, and help deliver exceptional communications to our members via a range of channels.
What it looks like:
* Assist with branding, content creation, member communications, and social media management.
* Support the organisation and execution of key BMX projects and initiatives.
* Prepare and review presentations, reports, and communications templates.
* Champion a member-first approach in all communications.
About you:
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
* Digital skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital marketing solutions.
* Strong writing skills with a passion for content development, copywriting, and social media.
* Creative and critical thinking abilities.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
* Confidence in preparing digital marketing strategies and complex documents.
* Understanding of the social media landscape and the role of tools like Meta in marketing and communications.
* Willingness to undertake or currently undertaking a TAFE Certificate IV (or higher) qualification.
