The role
NSW Government 1 2 Month Contract initially Up to $1,220.80 Daily Rate Our client is a large NSW Government organisation seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end technical support for a major System Modernisation Program. The Solution Architect will work closely with the Program Manager, Product Owner, Chief Information Officer, ICT operations teams and business system stakeholders to scope, design and support delivery of the program objectives and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between business expectations and current or future ICT capability. Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to support enterprise architecture development and maximise return on technology investment. Evaluate functional and technical requirements across high-impact and complex projects spanning multiple software technologies. Work with internal teams and external vendors to support solution design across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, data, integration and security architecture. Selection criteria: Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, secure and scalable solution designs that balance customer outcomes, operational needs, technical constraints and long-term maintainability. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including solution design, configuration, customisation, security model, business process flows, workflows and integration with enterprise systems. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure integration services such as API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions and secure integration patterns for scalable enterprise solutions. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, Common Data Service (CDS) and Common Data Model (CDM), including entity modelling, data relationships, data mapping, source-to-target mapping and data transformation across integrated systems. Experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake is highly desirable, including data ingestion, storage, governance, analytics enablement and alignment with enterprise data architecture and reporting requirements.
