As a seasoned Human Resources Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR initiatives that drive project success.
The Role
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations, including conducting thorough investigations, drafting comprehensive reports, and managing exit processes.
* Interpret and apply employment laws and regulations, offering informed advice to stakeholders on matters such as leave entitlements, superannuation, and time and attendance.
* Support workforce planning and development by identifying talent gaps, advising on capability needs, and analysing data to inform strategic decisions.
* Contribute to organisational design and change initiatives, assessing the impact of role and structural changes on business operations.
* Lead and align HR governance and strategy, ensuring job roles, capabilities, and salary bands support organisational objectives.
* Promote a positive workplace culture, embedding diversity and inclusion initiatives, managing ethical decision-making, and supporting employee engagement strategies.
* Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies, including sourcing, advising on hiring processes, and developing competitive remuneration packages.
The Team
* Reporting directly to the Support Services Manager, you will lead a team across the full remit of HR, Training, Recruitment, and Social Inclusion.
* You will work collaboratively with project leaders and operational staff across multiple locations.
The Project
* The project involves the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a large-scale industrial facility.
* The works include complex infrastructure projects, requiring expertise in civil, electrical, and bulk earthworks.
Your Experience and Skills
* We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a strong background in similar industries.
* Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Capability to influence and drive change management through all levels of project leadership and operational staff.
