**Our Team - Early Childhood Intervention**

In your new role you will provide early childhood intervention services to support children with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families. You will work closely with our team to help families break down barriers to reveal children's true abilities.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
* Plan and coordinate supports with the child and family that reflect strengths-based and family-centered approaches
* D eliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilizing a transdisciplinary approach
* Assess and communicate the child's development and ongoing progress
* F acilitate a team around the child that promotes participation in family, community and cultural activities
* E nsure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families and stakeholders
* M eet the responsibilities of your role including positive outcomes with children and families, contributions to the team and meeting performance indicators
**What You'll Do On A Typical Day:
- Attend family appointments and get to know them, their child, and goals
- Provide therapy at a preschool to support a child to develop motor skills
- Support parents to find a local school that best suits their child's needs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support a child to develop communication and social skills
- Access mentoring and internal supports to grow your expertise and skills
- Participate in team meetings and contribute thoughts, ideas, and solutions

**To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:**
* AHPRA registration, SPA registration, current Teachers Registration, or Bachelors Degree qualification in Social Work
* Be passionate about providing a deeper level of support to children and families
* Have strong listening skills and a positive approach to risk
* Be driven to delivering high impact outcomes in children and families' lives
* Be flexible and able to work in a commercial environment
* Commit to developing yourself and the people around you
