Are you an experienced and skilled Painter and Decorator seeking an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a talented Painting and Decorating professional to join our team at Brilliance's Painting Service in Cairns, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the local area.
What you'll be doin
* Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, such as sanding, filling, and priming
* Applying high-quality paints, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and trims
* Hanging wallpaper and other decorative materials
* Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout projects
* Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional results for our clients
* Adhering to all health and safety protocols
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, preferably within the building trades industry
* Strong practical skills in surface preparation, painting, and wallpapering techniques
* Good eye for detail and an ability to achieve a high-quality finish
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A team-oriented approach and good communication skills
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
