School Address : PO Box 97 Geraldton WA 6531Position DetailsLearning Support AdministratorSupport the Head of Learning Area - Learning Support with the day-to-day management of the learning area.- As directed by the HoLA, manage and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the learning support centre (The HUB), including the work pattern of the Education Assistants and students who visit during the day for assistance.- Create and manage rosters for Education Assistants.- Coordinate visits by external parties to the College to work with students (i.e. Occupational Therapists and other support staff).- Organise the daily support of student’s timetables, workplace learning etc.- Working with students in small groups work on literacy and numeracy, as directed by HOLA.- Support the HoLA and Learning Support staff to enter data for student education plans.- Liaise with families regarding student concerns and pass information onto HoLA.- Coordinate special events that may be occurring within The HUB.- Coordinating staffing and resources for College intervention programs (i.e. Maqlit).- Provide support to the HoLA with the development of funding submissions to CEWA/NCCD/SWD.- Input data for school reports for students within The HUB.- Any other tasks as directed by the HoLA.Selection CriteriaA background in learning support is desirable, however, not essential.Qualifications Required- Working With Children Card.- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).- Be legally entitled to work in Australia with proof of Australian Birth, Citizenship or residency visa details.- Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).- Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).For further information please visit the College website: https://www.ncc.wa.edu.au/Closing Date for Applications: 9:00AM Monday 16 June 2025.Catholic Education Western Australia encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with a disability, people of all ages and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
