**About the Role**
A fantastic opportunity exists for a Manager, Product Governance and Controls to join our high performing team based in Newstead.
On a day-to-day basis in this newly created role, you will report to the Senior Manager (Product Governance and Controls), supporting our Product Quality Team and Product Owners across Retail and Business Banking.
You will provide administrative support to two Product committees, maintain Product Risk Review schedules, operate enterprise product controls on behalf of Group Product and complete monthly reporting. Once trained, you will lead engagements with Product Managers and Senior Leaders across the Group to deliver uplifts to Group Product's governance and controls.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and circulate monthly Design & Distribution Obligations (DDO) trigger and complaints reporting.
- Maintain Target Market Determination (TMD) records within our records management system.
- Maintain product data within the Product Master list (database).
- Maintain Product SharePoint sites including updated links, policies & procedure, standards, and terms of reference.
- Conduct annual Enterprise Product Control Self-Assessment
Our Manager, Product Governance and Controls will facilitate and execute the key aspects of BOQ Groups Product Lifestyle Management Policy, operate enterprise product controls on behalf of Group Product and deliver uplifts to Group Product's governance and controls.
**About you**
It is a requirement that you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Product, Risk, Audit or Governance role within the financial services or consulting industry. Intermediate MS Office suite skills and excellent attention to detail, time-management, communication and organisational skills. A business, finance, legal or related tertiary qualification would be preferred, although not required.
Our Manager, Product Governance and Controls will enjoy working collaboratively but also have the initiative required to lead and deliver work end-to-end (once trained), working within frameworks and policy. You will have the chance to develop excellent stakeholder management skills within this role.
