Experienced Medical Receptionist required for a busy General Practice (GPA accredited) in Currimundi operating Monday to Friday. Required Approximately 2 days per week with the opportunity of growth in time.
Immediate start available. This role will initially commence as a casual position with a view to increase to permanent part time with the growth of the practice.
Era Doctors are seeking candidates that have a minimum of 1 year (current) experience in general practice and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
To fulfil this role, the successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team, provide strong customer service skills and embrace the challenges of each day. The role reports to an administrative manager.

Essential requirements:
* Minimum 1yr general practice experience
* Exceptional patient service skills.
* Professionalism, reliability, and flexibility.
* Effectively communicate and liaise with GP's and nurses
* Exceptional skills in problem solving, multi-tasking, time management and workload prioritisation.
* Thorough Medicare item number knowledge
* Previous experience with batching and handling Medicare exceptions
* Sound knowledge and experience in Best Practice Software, HotDoc and Microsoft office,
* General trouble shooting skills regarding Software and office equipment.
* Drive to engage and lead continuous improvement at the front desk
* A 'positive' attitude and willingness to help others
