Job Role:
In the role of Community Liaison, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with disability and their families to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will play a key part in connecting people with disabilities to resources within their local community.
* Supporting participants to apply for NDIS funding
* Collaborating with clients to develop tailored plans
* Facilitating connections between individuals with disabilities and available community services
* Navigating and optimizing participant engagement with the NDIS
* Building community awareness and knowledge of the NDIS
* Meeting established performance metrics
Essential Skills:
* Demonstrated experience in planning and collaboration
* Knowledge of local community resources and options for social participation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Current Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check
