Job Title: Business Operations Leader
We are seeking a seasoned Business Operations Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading business operations across your region.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with senior leaders.
* Manage operational areas within your region, including resource management, utilization, overhead control, and gross margin management.
* Achieve net revenue, gross margin, G&A, operating income, and backlog targets from within your region.
* Identify opportunities to grow and continuously improve our operations, including developing and implementing improvement plans for underperforming operations.
* Partner with other Business Leaders to drive collaboration and work sharing across the business unit.
* Provide leadership and direction to all staff and ensure the objectives, actions, and focus of the business unit are clearly communicated.
* Identify opportunities to reinforce and further develop our high-performance culture.
* Manage talent lifecycle, including recruitment, career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching, mentoring, diversity, and inclusion.
* Work with project delivery teams and Practice Leaders to drive quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.
* Lead client relationships, strategic project pursuits, and major project leadership within your region.
Requirements:
* Team leadership experience, preferably managing teams of >20 people.
* Financial acumen and understanding of financial levers in a consulting business.
* Commercial skills and problem-solving ability to resolve issues.
* Project Management experience, managing a large portfolio of projects.
* Interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders and achieve a collaborative approach.
* Client Focus and ability to develop strong client relationships.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum 10 years' related work experience.
