About the Job
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager-VIC
Location: VIC
Scope of Role: Drive sales performance and ensure efficient dealer operations within the assigned region
Reporting Line: Department Head
Key Responsibilities
Sales Target Achievement: Manage and communicate dealer sales goals across the assigned region to drive sales performance and achieve organizational objectives.
Dealership Management: Ensure dealer standards, operations and development align with the terms of the Dealer Agreement and the guidelines set by GAC International Australia.
Network Expansion: Identify, assess and onboard new dealer partners within the assigned region to strengthen market presence and improve network coverage.
Performance Evaluation: Monitor and analyse regional dealer performance through key business metrics such as stock structure, sales output, market share, and customer lead conversion efficiency.
Dealer Support & Training: Conduct regular on-site visits within assigned region to support sales execution and uphold brand standards. Deliver ongoing training to dealer staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and system usage to drive performance improvement.
Marketing and Brand Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure regional promotional activities and campaigns are aligned with National branding and sales objectives.
Market Intelligence: Provide timely and actionable feedback to management on dealer or zone performance, market trends, and competitor best practices to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other tasks assigned by the company or senior management, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
What We Are looking for?
・Sales Expert: Minimum of 5 years' experience in automotive sales or dealer operations, ideally in a field-based or regional sales role.
・Strong commercial acumen: Exhibits keen commercial insight combined with a results-oriented mindset.
・Exceptional networking ability: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, supported by excellent communication skills.
・Team Player: Excellent team collaboration, execution capabilities, and ability to perform under pressure.
・Problem Solver: Quick thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate challenges and deliver effective solutions.
