**About the company**
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a **State Government Agency** to engage an Field Officer.** **This position is located in their busy office based regionally for an initial **contract permanent/ Full-time.**
**About the Position**
The primary focus of the role is to carry out all contractual obligations relating to the licensing and compliance scheme in the region. This includes planning, investigation, inspection, reporting of audits and also initiates incident reporting on non-compliance.
**Duties**
- Planning & Analytical Skills - Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, collect and analyse information and data, problem solve, make an assessment and clear course of action.
- Client Liaison & Interpersonal skills - Proven ability to convey information and interact effectively with a range of stakeholders including technical/non-technical stakeholders, professionals, colleagues.
- Data-base and computing skills - Proven ability to use a customised database to query, search, retrieve, upload reports and download standardised documents.
- Oral & written communication - Effective and articulate oral communication skills to build rapport, convey ideas clearly, listen carefully. Advanced written skills suited to technical reporting.
- Time management - Proven track record in operating autonomously to setting priorities, track progress and meeting critical performance targets of self and team.
- Learning agility - Demonstrated drive to acquire knowledge and skills to perform the role well.
**Requirements/Skills**
- Cert. III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, completed apprenticeship & current ARC licence holder.
- Cert. IV in Government (Statutory Compliance)
**Specific Knowledge & Experience**:
- Previous experience in an audit and/or compliance role is highly regarded as is working in a technical service environment with quality and quantitative targets.
