The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services through its independent agency.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with ministers to ensure timely and high-quality submissions, briefs, and correspondence.
* Utilize discretion and judgement to prioritize tasks, identify sensitive information for escalation, and perform quality assurance on parliamentary documents.
* Manage parliamentary mailboxes, coordinate input requests, and draft standard responses effectively.
* Support Senate Estimate and parliamentary committee coordination processes, including hearing preparations and post-hearing activities.
Familiarity with Ministerial and Parliamentary Units is essential, along with experience in all aspects of such units.
Requirements
* Similar work experience or equivalent level of knowledge and skills.
* Ability to exercise discretion and judgement, particularly in managing sensitive information.
