As our Tradesperson (Welder), you'll work on fabrication tasks, apply your welding expertise, and help keep the process safe and efficient. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a supportive team, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
About the role
You'll carry out welding and fabrication activities to meet quality and safety standards. Expect variety, practical work, and strong support from your team.
You can expect to:
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Apply welding processes including MIG, TIG, Stick and oxy/acetylene
• Use thermal cutting methods such as plasma and oxy/acetylene
• Operate and maintain welding machines and tools correctly
• Assist with developing apprentices' skills and knowledge
What you'll bring
• Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication) (essential)
• Demonstrated welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• White Card, Silica Awareness, and Asbestos Awareness
• Permanent working rights in Australia
