Medium Rare Content Agency (MRCA) is seeking a Sydney‑based Social Media producer to create highly engaging, trend‑based recipe reels for Coles. This is a 3‑day‑per‑week role.
Are you already over matcha and looking for the next biggest thing? Do you style every dinner like it's a magazine cover? If you love all things social media and have proven skills in creating top‑tier platform‑first social content, this is the role for you.
Reporting to the Coles Social Lead, this opportunity allows you to work closely with the award‑winning Coles food and magazine team to produce weekly drops of trend‑driven food content.
This role requires a can‑do attitude, the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities, and responsibility for concepting, shooting, and editing content across Meta and TikTok, as well as contributing to ideation, campaign response, and trend watching.
Responsibilities
* Ideate content based on strategic responses
* Build storyboards and shotlists for approval
* Manage the approval process
* Shoot and edit content
* Work closely with the social team to optimise future content
* Use a common edit sharing platform
* Ensure content is fit for platform
* Source and recommend trending music
* Manage production tracking processes
* Contribute to client meetings, where required
Who are you?
* Meticulous attention to detail, initiative, and ability to multi‑task
* Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok platforms
* Genuine passion for social media and content
* Previous experience producing content for brands or your own channels
* Live for food and food trends
* Understand the process of creating recipe video content
* On the pulse with social trends and can bring a perspective on how to bring these to life for our client
* Strong communicator, confident communicating with a variety of stakeholders
* Detail and deadline‑focused
