Position: Receptionist
We are seeking a confident, calm, and empathetic Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy veterinary hospital. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys supporting both pet owners and colleagues, and can balance efficiency with genuine care.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for clients, greeting them with warmth and professionalism.
* Manage phone calls, appointments, and client enquiries with accuracy and empathy.
* Support pet owners during stressful moments with reassurance and understanding.
* Assist the veterinary team by keeping workflows smooth and organised.
* Handle administrative tasks in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
* Confidence under pressure and the ability to stay calm in busy situations.
* Strong communication skills with a caring, empathetic approach.
* Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability.
* A team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive workplace culture.
* Previous receptionist or customer service experience.
